FOR CRITICAL DATA, WE OFFER HARD DRIVE TO LTO ARCHIVE
The average hard drive lasts 1-5 years. There’s a 5.1% chance that your drive will die in its first year, you should either back up your data regularly. After 36 months, though, you should definitely back up your data, or copy the data to a new hard drive.
LTO tape is the archival standard and lasts up to 30 years. Send us a copy of your drive and we can back up a LTO archival copy for off site storage of your critical data.
